Welcome to the indie label Self-Inflicted Records (w. SI promotion & SI production). All bands are free to be signed at other labels and they hold the copyright to their material. We distribute the material and try to some extend to promote the bands aswell. This site is a cateloge of the self released material from Self-Inflicted Records.
We plan on being ready with showcases and stands at concerts this fall. At least 3 artists will have a record out and we will start promoting it. Hope to see you at concerts, festivals, in mags, on the street - you name it. Records will be available on our site too.However the bands are still being promoted via old material meanwhile. They are all looking for concerts to get a break from the studio too.
Dreadful Dollface (dark indie rock)
Dirty Danish band from a dark corner of Copenhagen. Electro beats and rockguitars are being pushed forward by a catchy bass-line. The lyrics ranges from frustration to easy love. The band has got several demo releases out there.

MAKESUIDECIDE (analogue electro)
No secret that the path to the muse Sui is a rather painful one - but nonetheless: MSD is searching while mainly focused on live performances. Some material makes it to the studio/recordplayer and we release all given from this band.

April (Spoken Words/Rhythm & Poetry/Easy listening)
An experiment inspired by artists like Recoil, Jim Morrison, Serge Gainsbourg, Tindersticks and more. The band is a side-project from Rune Lydstat and Chriss. Not many releases are to be expected from April, but we are happy with all we get.

Anti Alt (Noize/Retro Electro)
Anti Alt in translation means Anti Everything. It is an electro experiment based on 8-bit Game Boy, Commodore 64, Amiga and Atari. Anti Alt are playing the Devils Lawyer and shows the search of a an arrogant frustration.

Fallen Poetry Stars (Poetry)
A Danish group of poets who read out loud uses SI to book gigs and release books and CDs. The aim is to get poetry to be as respected and read as lyrics and get the status of a poetry group on same level as any other band. Their homepage holds much unreleased material as well.

Lydstat (alternative electronic pop)
Lydstat is a band well rooted in the music genres of electro, synthpop and industrial. The main focus is currently on combining their own sound together with Danish words. A unique combination of hard rhythms and original Danish poetical lyrics.
In live situations the band is using a powerful visual appearance by the use of projectors and screens.
